Differences Between Rich and Poor Mindset

The difference between a rich and a poor person's mind lies in perspective and approach to life. A rich mind perceives opportunity while others see obstacles. Similarly, let's look at the prime differences for easy adaptation.

The Rich Mindset Is Proactive, Not Reactive

  • Rather than reacting to life as it comes, the rich mindset takes control, sets the pace and dictates the outcome. They take full responsibility for their lives, setting goals and acting on them.

The Rich Mindset Is A Growth Mindset, Not A Fixed Mindset

  • Believing in their capacity to learn and grow, belief in their abilities to develop is high with the rich mindset. Love for learning is a natural thing with the Rich Mindset

The Rich Mindset Looks For Opportunity, Not Safety

  • People with a rich mindset are risk-takers, always looking for opportunities to improve their wealth, knowledge and lives. They are comfortable with uncertainty and understand that to succeed you must step out of your comfort zone.
The Rich Mindset Is Positive, Not Negative
  • A rich mindset stays positive and optimistic, believing in the power of their dreams. They know that negativity pulls you down and hinders progress.

The Rich Mindset Loves Capitalism

  • Capitalism represents economic freedom, opportunities and the potential for prosperity. They see it as a tool that can be used for wealth creation rather than a system to be feared or resented.
The Rich Mindset is More Focused On Creating Products Than Consuming Them
  • The Rich mindset understands the power of creation. They focus on contributing to the world, creating value and building wealth, rather than just consuming what others have made.
The Rich Mindset Wants To Employ People, Not Work For Salary
  • The Rich mindset values freedom and control over their career output and profession. They want to build their own dreams, employ others and contribute to society instead of merely working for a salary.
The Rich Mindset Seeks To Build Businesses Not Work For Them
  • The Rich Mindset prefers to be the captain of the ship. They see the potential in creating businesses that will provide them with financial freedom and a chance to make a lasting impact.
The Rich Mindset Thinks About Net Worth, Not What They Can Borrow To Acquire Consumer Debt
  • People with a rich mindset focus on increasing their net worth by acquiring assets and reducing liabilities. They don't want consumer loans but the ability to grow wealth
The Rich Mindset Wants To Overcome Circumstances, Not Be A Victim Of Them
  • The Rich mindset doesn't allow circumstances to define them. They take challenges head-on using them as opportunities to learn and grow rather than as reasons to give up.
The Rich Mindset Loves To Build, While The Poor Mindset Loves To Consume
  • A Rich mindset loves to create and build, they get from seeing their ideas come to life and generate value. The poor mindset, however, focuses on consumption, often at the cost of long-term financial health.
The Rich Mindset Is Obsessed With Learning, The Poor Mindset Is Obsessed With Entertainment
  • The Rich mindset believes in lifelong learning, they continually seek to improve their knowledge and skills. On the other hand, the poor mindset tends to prioritize immediate entertainment over long-term growth.
The Rich Mindset Accumulates Assets, While The Poor Mindset Accumulates Debt
  • People with a rich mindset focus on acquiring assets that generate income or appreciate over time. Conversely, the poor mindset often accumulates debt, spending money on things that lose value or create ongoing financial obligations.

The Rich Mindset Has Goals, While The Poor Mindset Has Wishes
  • A rich mindset is goal oriented. They set clear, achievable goals and work relentlessly to achieve them. On the other hand, the poor mindset tends to have wishes without a concrete plan to make them come true.
The difference between a rich and poor mindset goes beyond the amount of money in the bank. It's about how on views life, challenges, opportunities and financial decisions.

How To Love the World More, With Courage in an Uncertain World

Nothing hurts more than certainties - Proverb

  • Staying positive and engaging in healthy communication are the keys to becoming more loving.
  • Stamp out being critical and pay more attention to good things and the people surrounding you.
  1. Sharing Your Love with the World: Serve Others
    • Giving your time and energy in service to a just cause creates a better world, provides personal satisfaction and helps you be more loving.
  2. Reflect on your personal mistakes: Reflect on your personal mistakes daily, reach out again to see how it can be made right and how you can avoid repeating the same mistake next time.
  3. Surround yourself with people who are loving: Find friends who support you and minimize the time you spend with negative, spiteful individuals.
  4. Practice forgiveness: If someone disrespects you or dislikes you, be prepared to forgive them. Don't hold onto your failures, let them go.
  5. Write down positive experiences: Write down the best things that happened during the day in a journal.

Don't expect anything in return: If you do something nice to your partner or someone else in the family or your friends and relatives, never hold it against them by expecting them to do something nice for you in return.

Be more helpful for yourself and grow as a person: unhappiness with self is common with everyone and it will become double the difficulty in loving others. Identify your own values and enjoy what you are doing.

Demonstrate you care: Give your relationship your best shot: Holding back positive, loving emotions prevents us from loving as much as we could and should.

Stay attentive to your partners wants and needs: Ask your partner and family members each day after work or school how they're feeling and how their day has been.

Do little things your partner likes: Ask your partner what kinds of behavior they consider loving.

Use pet names with your loved ones:

Communicate in a loving way: Avoid accusatory language eg: Instead of "You never listen to me" use statements like "I wish we could find a way to talk more honestly with each other"

Focus on whom you talk, do not neglect them when you speak or hear them

Trading With ADX: Identifying Entry and Exit Points

 ADX and DI lines crossover

  • Observe the crossover of DI lines (Directional Indicator)
  • DI lines are +DI and -DI.
    • When +DI crosses -DI then it signals buying opportunity
    • When -DI crosses +DI then it signals a selling opportunity
  • ADX only measures the strength of a trend, not its direction (very important)
  • Whenever DI+ crosses DI- then it is a buying signal, provided ADX is above 20
  • ADX value below 20 is a nonexistent trend
  • ADX value above 20 is a practical trend for trade
  • Exit whenever ADX falls below 20

  • Here you can observe Whenever +DI crosses -DI it is time for buying and When +DI crosses -DI time for shorting, stronger only when ADX is above 20 (Yellow Line moving up)
  • ADX Slope and momentum: Rising ADX slope indicates that the trend is gaining momentum, offering a potentially favorable entry point. On the other hand a declining ADX slope suggests that the trend is losing momentum signalling a possible exit

  • When ADX rises, it is not a trend direction, it is momentum strength.
  • Combining ADX with MA determines good trend's direction and helps us to position long or short
  • Consider if the price is above MA and the ADX is above 20, then we are in a long position.
  • If the price is below MA and ADX is above 20, then we can plan at short position
